Becuase some of us just cant stand to be in windows because linux is so much better.

Linux is an OS for fags. 99% of the people using it are pale, ugly, boys with long hair and no girlfriend. They spend 23 hours in front of the PC per day. Besides the computer, there is no life for them

And dont spend a ton of time in front of the comptuer for the fact I dont have to wait 9000hr's for it to do something linux dose in 2 seconds. 3 linux frineds. Hardcore bicyclist, waverunner, and a f*ggot that we pull jokes on cus he cant properly secure a windows or linux box. Let alone wifi.

Just search Google for Puppy Linux. That way you get the latest version. AFAIK, I think it's up to version 4.0.

Akhem!! Did you watch his video?? He did not ''delete'' Wimblows. He simply ran Linux from his pen-drive. As he said, this Puppy-Linux doesn't even affect the Windows at all; its about 10X faster and has practically all the features you'd want. Did I say it runs about 10X faster?? LOL It's safer and doesn't get viruses or a ''blue-screen-of-death'' like Windoze. Oh, and did I say it's about 10X faster? And a whole lot of features Windooz doesn't have.

It runs 10x faster... but what applications are word and run under Linux? You got a fast OS with no applications - great. Just look at that stupid Linux GUI - I could puke, no kidding.

No need to be offensive. I really think you should try it before passing judgment on it. Personally, I use Open Office for all my Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and what-not applications. You can also use a lighter application such as Abi-Word, but it's not as compliant. The GUI that you see is the one that initially loads by default. I'm using Puppy to write my response back and my personal GUI looks just like Vista, but without the lag. The beauty is that you can make it what you want.

Puppy Linux is a smaller distro, so it does run faster than XP. That is not really the point though. Some people just like Linux better. Most people don't use Linux because they can't afford Windows. Linux is a very advanced operating system, and people spend a lot of time programming it as a hobby.
