I love this commercial! For all the Boeing haters who have commented, please recall that Airbus took at least a year's delay on their precious A-380 due to electrical problems. Singapore Airlines gave up and ordered a B-787 so that *something* might be delivered on time... :-/

Next message: Today the US-Army gave boeing a knock-out. They prefer the A-330 tank-aircraft. Value: 35 Billion Dollar for 179 A-330. ...The pentagon sometimes is clever !

When is this from? I ask that because the 7E7 is now the 787.

You're right andyplace, Boeing only did that with just the 707 fuselage on the 727, 737, and then on the 757. At least Airbus scrapped the a350 and created the all new A350 XWB.

Didn't Boeing do this with the "new" 747? Last I checked, the A350 is an all new jet.

But Boeing didn't call the 747-8 the 797 .....
