I love this performance :) In the end you can see in her eyes that she doesn't understand anything of what the woman says.That's kinda cute :) I love her so much!

Just remembered - when she performed "May It Be" at the Academy Awards - that was real.

I don't believe Lipsynch or not is the point. Enya's music is unique in its marketing. She hardly performs but its always always beautiful to see that sparkle in her eyes when she shows us in person HER(shes a one woman show) compositions. I love to watch her perform. Lipsynched or not. The songs are more hers and are performed with more pride than those singers out there dancing to rhythms arranged by Others.

This is great! I've never seen her perform, but I probably have all her recordings.

Enya does sing live, but she rarely does as her music is far too difficult to recreate, hence the reason for the back up vocals of herself, this is the only way to get the required layering of her voice for a live appearance, Enya's voice has been layered 500 times for the song 'Angeles'

Enya does not lip synch...if you're fortunate enough to see her perform live, you'll see/hear. You have to realize that Enya does all the vocals for her songs so her voice is her own back up singers (her voive is dubbed numerous times on the songs, up to 500 is the max she has gone I believe) and she also plays all the instruments, so she's a one woman singer, band, orchestra, choir. Enya is the best!!
