Colossal Halftime Show Screw-ups

Ahh, it wasn't that bad, just a few slight missed cues and a strong cross wind that prevented the Card boxes from dropping all the way, big deal. This is by NO means the worst screw-up in magic as it has come to be known. What we have here is a case of the legend being worse than the reality. Blackstone is a FANTASTIC performer, I had the great pleasure of seeing him twice. A shame he's no longer with us. Just a great guy!

Blackstone later said the reason for all the screw-ups was that the field was wet when the teams needed to practice. So, when Blackstone and the camera crew were suppose to practice the teams were on the field so there was no practice, nor were there any directions really given to the camera crew.

Harry had one bad day in his career. That was it. But having known & worked with the man most of you have no idea of how great a performer he was and unfortunately you never will. Ask those who have had the pleasure of seeing him and they will tell you..."he was a Prince of a man and the in the TOP of his field.

the screw ups made the show somewhat entertainment. other than that the rest was crap. thats what happens when you throw just a bunch of crap on the field and dont worry about the content.

Got to hand it to him...the guy never gave up. Cuz that show sucked major nutsack.

Clearly the entire show can be blamed on the technicians and Halftime people. Blackstone was standing in the center as everything went wrong around him.

I think the best is the very last trick that gets f'd up. The Orange Bowl Queen completely misses her cue and the music ends. You hear a guy yelling "hot dogs here, hot dogs here". Classic. This is the worst bomb of a magic act ever.

Someone in the comments said that Blackstone was a step under Copperfield but there is no way that is true. Look at this and the rest of Blackstone's tricks and you will easily see that Blackstone was never even close to being a step under Copperfield. Blackstone is one of the worst magicians of all time.
