You say it is not there job to die in a protracted war. I agree, their job is to put an end to this conflict. The path of defeat won't be priceless.

The main problem of the US and democracies as a whole is that when the threat is not explicit enough (when whole tank divisions are not rolling on us)they just don't feel threatened enough to tackle the problem before it is too late. Human life is priceless. But when the costs of inaction means losses in term of life, soldier's life must be put at risk.

Bring them home because they didn't sign up to serve in a war zone for years and years. Brigades have been deployed to Iraq 3-4 times, and their deployments have been extended past their supposed "end" dates. THAT's what we need to bring home. I think Hillary is a massive liar though, and doesn't understand the situation at all.

If soldiers did not sign up for war what did they sign up for? Its like a life guard who doesnt want to get wet. You do remember its a volunteer army right?
