Hey, PerttiKy: please don't make stupid and insulting remarks that compare bucketshit to the great Jimi Hendrix. It is an insult to the great man himself and you risk incurring the wrath and curse from the great beyond! The bucket thinks he is Jimmy Chicken-drix, but he's not. If you are merely ignorant and don't know how Hendrix was rock history's greatest contributor and legend, you MAY be forgiven if you learn a bit and apologize. Bucket is one of a handful of KNOWN shredders who all copy.

Actually I know quite a lot about Jimi Hendrix and his life and what he have done. I been great fan of J.H. early 70´s and so on... but Mr bucket is a different kind of talented and I do not mean technic but style how he plays like J.H.´s music. Peace man.

But, PerttiKy: it's not what bucket is playing, but THAT he is playing. He can't even do justice to the stuff taught to him by Paul Gilbert, which is just more shredding anyway. Shredding isn't a STYLE of guitar, it is simply a gimmick for when you don't know what else to do to try to impress. It doesn't impress me all those scales etc. And the tapping is very annoying sounding. Bucket can't compose anything, he just copies, and badly. His 'rendition' of Hendrix is appalling and disgusting.peace

jimmy and bucket are totally different and cant be compared, BUT from wikipedia on buckethead: "He is a prolific COMPOSER, having released 38 solo albums and performed on over 50 more. He has also made a guest appearance on 44 different albums from various artists. His music spans across diverse areas such as thrash metal, funk, electronica, jazz and avant-garde music." So, he can compose, and isnt the goal of a cover mainly to copy?

PerttiKy, you can't seriously believe that bucket's anywhere near the basement of the 1000 story building which is Jimi Hendrix's talent. Bucket couldn't even dream of brushing the dust off Hendrix's boots let alone be compared with him. You must be mental in the extreme to say such a 'betise'.Really now, without insulting you, nobody who's anybody in the guitar world would agree with you that bucket is anywhere near the talent Jimi was. I don't know what else to say, I'm practically speechless!

U right about that, he is not talent like GREAT J.H.Today´s music is not even near what Jimi Hendrix made and that is the reason why it´s stupid to compare B.H. to J.H. But in that light I (my own opinion) could say B.H. is talented PLAYER of his time. He is not as greative as Jimi Hendrix was and never will be, J.H. was unique, but his not shredder like Paul Gilbert because he don´t hv technique as good as P.G. But the way he play is something else,and I like it.
