It seems like Kellogg's had a strong-hold on EVERYTHING back in the 50's and 60's! They sponsored at least half of the tv shows during those decades!
|
What were the sponsors of those TV Shows please name those sponsors.
|
"THE NEW CASPER CARTOON SHOW" opening is from the fall of 1963, when ABC billed itself as "The New ABC", along with promoting its new fall line-up during its Saturday morning shows {those, of course, that didn't have full sponsorship- the "brought to you by.." v.o. was snipped out at :23}. "THE BUGS BUNNY SHOW" title, with ABC I.D. is from '65...I'm quite sure a live staff announcer said, over the closing network I.D. slide [only seen during the last half of '63] at 4:06, "This is the NEW ABC".

I heard someday you're going to post a complete Jetsons intro w/maybe a sponsor tag!
|
I might be able to. But I'll have to find it first and check it out.
|
Interesting how ABC had trouble getting their shows sponsored-including Bugs Bunny
|
This stuff is Shakespere compared to the cartoon dreck out nowadays.
|
You got that right, LSK. And, for all the hind-sighted criticism that PTA groups dish out, concerning the toy and cereal commercials back then, has anyone pointed out the equal time given to public service messages during that same period? I think not.

Thank you! 12TVCartoon for the Blast from the past!
Here to continue with the latin america spanish equivalent:
- The Underdog Show (El Show de Underdog)
- Shazzan! (¡Shazzán!)
All of these TV Favorites has broadcasted here in Peru (South America) very close to their original premier in USA!
I watched the re-runs in the late 70's and 80's when I was a kid with the original dubbing in standard spanish for Latin America made excellently in Mexico (Frankestein Jr. was dubbed in Puerto Rico).

Hola, cesardminguez! Saludos directo en el Connecticut, USA!
It is nice to know that the cartoons that gave me such joy, as a youngster, delight the young at heart elsewhere in the New World.
