My friend Sronpop i don't know why did you say so. saudi arabia and yemen were not part of Persian Empire. Iran formerly known internationally as Persia until 1935. Iran means Land of the Aryans. Just search "Persian Empire" and you can find the map of this empire.

I guess Jordan Mechner (he's the original creator and one the writers in this movie) wanted something different. Usually these adaptations don't stick too closely to the source, anyway. It's good to have something new because I surely wouldn't want to watch the same story that I've already played through for hours on end.

i agree with you...i think it will be a good movie beacuse jerry bruckeimer's one are always nice...but not for us fan of prince of persia! :-( nothing agaist him but...jake gyllenhaal???common it's riddicoulus...

these guys are total fucking failure, movie's gonna suck cuz: 1st they gave prince a name and changed farah's and because jake IS NOT PRINCE FOR FUCK SAKE JESUS!!! they could at least pick Tom wisdom who played astinos in 300, he looks ALOT MORE LIKE PRINCE

I understand that they gave the Prince a name, but why did they have to change Farah's name?! Damn this is gonna suck..
