personally i like a simple fuel injection system, GM's TBI works great and is so simple, easy to diagnose and tune too and i don't have to mess with it when the weather gets freezing cold it starts and runs fine i have a Geo Metro 3cyl and it's TBI is like Ford's CFI: doesn't ever want to run just right but i keep the fuel system clean so it runs well enough to get me around in the cold, in my experience you have to tune/adjust a carb just right to get good mileage in cold weather

i wouldn't say either is better, CFI is technically fuel injection which some prefer but if it's not running correctly it's a pain, i don't know how to tune it but a carb you can tune and rebuild easily the 302 with multi port fuel injection i think is the best, very reliable

ok in Canada they got a Motorcraft 2150 2 barrel carb on top of a 302, non HO (Mustang) heads/intake and headers; in USA we got the same engine but with CFI which is like throttle body injection but if it's not working just right it's a nightmare

depends on what year that thing was, fords early throttle body injection wasn't worth writing home about...The later EFI was and still is pretty darn good though;)

Now I may not condone the abuse of north American iron, but a KIA or one of them hundays or what the fuck they call it, all there good for is abusing, shit there rusted before there off the damned boat! And yes as my name imply's I got a crown Vic, I also used to have an olds. I get pretty sad when I see the old cars getting abused But hey at least there not sitting and rusting away in some junk yard....yet.
