Prime Minister Stephen Harper said they hate our freedom. Maybe, but it's a little more complicated than that. Don't treat us like we're 6 years old. Talk to us like you believe we're mature adults, so we can make decisions like mature adults. Security is a major concern for everyone, but if this kind of rhetoric catches on, we could lose a lot more than our safety. It's the start of a slide into racial and religious prejudice. We don't need soundbites, or over-simplified headlines. Mr. Harper, you set the tone for what happens next. Choose carefully what words and direction you choose. That's time.
