Conquerors - Napoleon Bonaparte - part 2 of 7

Video Title : Conquerors - Napoleon Bonaparte - part 2 of 7
Description : Napoleon Bonaparte was a supreme opportunist, driven by a burning desire for power. In 1899 he judged that the momentum of the French revolutionary had burned itself out the time was ripe for a popular soldier with a genius for organization to take control. Unlike the monarchs in Vienna, St. Petersburg and London, Napoleon as the son of provincial lawyer could never claim to derive authority from descent. He enjoyed complete loyalty of the army. His brilliant military strategies won him control of most of Europe. The conquered people of Europe finally banded together to defeat Napoleon.

all paintings indicate that he was handsome, but they might be romantising it

Napoleon did not abandon Josephine, he had to leave and he was totally obsessed with her.

So, if Napolean was alive today he would be called an republican. RIGHT

no, a democrat cuz he didnt beleive the rich should be a small percentage and hardly pay any taxes as the republicans do today

Hitler was austrian not german. Did you know it? Then, can you say that the WW2 was an austrian victory? That makes no sense for me. The major part of their army and their generals were german. And the italian were not even able to invade Greece without the german help. Italy had no military success against France since Alesia when France didn't exist. That's a fact.

Corsican are not ethnically or racially French the island my have been in french hands but they and the people are not french....

And then, what is the race of France? Germanic, Celt, Romans? We are from everywhere in Europe. The soldiers were french and also the most famous generals. So, the Revolutionnist had always did an important part of the job without Napoleon. Bad argument. Corsica is french since the 17th. So, the Corsican are racially like the people from the South of France. This argument is often use because the italian are ashamed to never have won a battle vs France in 2000 years!

Wikipedia "The family were minor Italian nobility of Tuscan origin" as you can see if you go there(i learnt it in history at school a very long time ago) he was of Italian decent so he was NOT a french man the fact that Corsica became french does not change his origins

the "French" people i would(and many other anthropologists) consider as Gallo-Roman or Aquitanians and Celts(brittany) so Napolian was "not" really French being of Italian desent only still other than Metric the French must hold onto something lol

As I said, the army was french, the generals and he revolutionists were french. And the Italian were humiliated by the revolutionists that were just a bunch of farmers and civilians not current soldiers. Then, this guy is just the major figure but the job was made by the soldiers. The french people is the product of an unbreeding of the Celts and the Germanic but also the Vickings because of the Normans and don't forget the intense italian immigration of the 20th century
