Description :	(Andrew has told me it is OK to turn this back on) I this evening attended Eli Singer's CaseCamp and was treated to hearing Andrew Baron tell us his side of the story of the recent turmoil at Rocketboom. I had my digital camera with me so I shot this video of his talk. I really appreciated what Andrew had to say and I hope that Rocketboom will emerge better then ever. Andrew was a great speaker I think it would be interesting if he got in front of the Rocketboom camera for a while but he has other plans for the direction of the show.

It seems most successful partners finally break up over this. It's called EGO. Amanda was the focus of all the press coverage, and when Amanda's boyfriend began directing episodes - I can see why he began "to feel gyped." Maybe he also wanted Amanda romantically and when Mario came along he felt betrayed.

He's the typical wuss. He thinks people were praising Amanda and thinking he's just a "dumbass." No one thought of you as anything less than a creative, innovative guy. You were gonna go off the LA with Ammanda and then she says "I don't want you to come to LA, you stay here" and the wuss says "OK,I don't care where I live" -- GOD man. You have a problem with insecurity. You gotta think more of yourself.

Andrew is taking great pains not to bicker. Publicly he is only saying nice things about Amanda.

anyway, what I'm most curious about is the 51/49% ownership situation...does Amanda still get money even though she isn't gonna do anything for the show?

nice to hear his side...basically you can't take Amanda's or Andrew's side of the story as 100% fact, it's usually is somewhere in the middle. I think when Amanda posted that she was flat out fired is untrue, she may have felt that she was fired or pushed out, but I think she most likely just over reacted. I've seen something like that before...

Agree, this does give a clear view to what happened.
