My modem is in my garage. I don't think the ethernet cable is long enough to reach inside my house from my garage. So, is there a way I can get the D-link Router to work wireless without the ethernet cable?

please don't laugh at me, but i really don't know what i'm doing. I got a d-link router from my friend, a DIR-655. Do I need two Ethernet Cables? i only have one that came with the dsl modem.

ya you need 2 cables, 1 to plug in your computer and one to your modem, replay if you dont know what is a modem

i have a d-link 514 n we tried putting it on, n it doesnt work. how do u configure ur d-link router?? we tried da 192.168.0.1 or watever da number website thingy, n notin pops up,da admin n password is suppose to pop up.idk its fuqked up!

try 10.1.1.1. And U/N: admin P/W: admin or password
