its a turbo-shaft. go figure?

screw the wheels... look how close the air inlet is to the dirt on the ground!

it won't suck a leaf up from that distance,let alone dirt.

Nice to see your Blackburn/Hawker Siddeley/Bristol Siddeley/Rolls Royce Nimbus running. I spent 20 years working on them and 10 years instructing others on them. Can I recommend acquiring a Debris Guard? We always had them fitted except in icing conditions. She's rather close to the ground in the stand, and you don't want her to swallow anything nasty, spoiling the ship for a ha'porth 'o tar so to speak.

hi thanks for the comment,i have tried to get a fod guard for years, but no one has one for sale. i do a check before each run just to make sure the ground is clear, but that won't stop the wind blowing shite in her path. do you have a fod guard going spare?

I haven't but I'll ask around where I used to work. I'm retired now.

i just got a high time garrett TPE-331 with a run stand and test prop at an auction. cant wait to get it going!
