The Sopranos: Movie In The Works

What always surprised me is that Paulie was never upset that Jackie and Tony and Silvio got to be Boss even though he has spent way more time in the mob. I wonder if he even wants to be Boss. Paulie was definitely the most interesting character in the shows. If he was a rat, he still would have been cool to watch. Yep, that's exactly why they killed Pussy. I just don't get why they did it themselves. Tony's Boss for Christ's sake. He has hundreds if not thousands of guys who could kill Pussy.

yeh actually i just saw a video on paulie and he seems pretty sterdy if you get me. its cos he looks old. i ment he said to david chase he wouldnt play the part of paulie if he would be portrayed in the script as a "rat" why did they kill pussy wasnt it cos he was a rat?

Paulie was promoted to Underboss and Silvio to Consigliere around the time Tony officially became Boss. Paulie was captain way before Tony was even a made man. At least I think he was. Tony does jokes too. When Paulie wants, he could be a good business man. He's one of Tony's top earners, second only to Ralph. I know he pulled off robberies and break-ins and I think he spent some time in jail. I'm not sure about the rat thing, though.

oh yeah forgot all that happend. was paulie underboss? he wasnt even captain was he? i dont know i cant remember all of it im slowly catching up on it all atm. i just cant see paulie doing the meetings hes always doing jokes and stuff. i read on wikipedia the guy who played paulie has a criminal background and said to david chase he wouldnt only play the part if he wasnt portrayed as a "rat".

Silvio tried being Don once. Remember? It was when Tony was in the coma. He couldn't handle the pressure and got an asthma attack. Paulie seems to have the respect of a lot of people. And he is the Underboss. So, it seems logical that he would become the Don. Bobby as Don? He would be killed in the first day!!! If she could handle being in the mafia, she could definitely handle having someone "whacked".

i mean after he awakes cos he seems to have a lot like he owns bada bing so he must have some ense of bussines i still see paulie as a soldier tbh dont think he could handle it if bobby was alive id love to see him as the boss. lol yeh i dont know i can see meadow having someone wacked. lol

I wonder if Tony would ever retire from the mob. I don't even know if he could retire. How could Sil take over? He's in a coma. I would think that Paulie would take over or the guys who killed Phil might try to kill Tony and take over the Jersey mob. I would love to see Meadow as boss. She is like Tony in many ways except she doesn't have his temper. I just can't see AJ in the mob. He's too normal.

Tony's feelings? I always thought that Dr. Melfi and his family represented his good side. It showed that sometimes Tony was a decent guy and he could really care about people if he wanted to. I think that the two sides of the poster represents Tony's two different sides. Tony as the caring father who was abused by his parents and Tony as the ruthless kingpin who will eliminate anyone who gets in his way of what he wants.

You said Dr. Melfi represented his feelings. I said she represented his humanity, his moments of being normal. Alright, you did say Tony's two sides thing. I didn't see that part the first time.
