By that rationale, Mexico should be required to have more than one language. How about Canada or Germany? Look, for most people, learning another language simply isn't practical. Most people will never leave the country, and thus have no need to learn Ukrainian or Farsi. Are you saying those people are less intelligent? Is that patriotism getting in the way? No, that's people of modest means surviving and providing for their families.

Least literate? Try India or Saudi Arabia, pal. Thanks to the ultra-leftwing media marketing this ridiculous notion of an inclusive diverse Utopia in a world laden with blood feuds between traditional enemies that have boiled on for centuries as patriotism to gullible individuals like yourself, consevatives seriously wonder about who is brainwashing whom. I'm against paying for deadbeats here in the US, so I'm most certainly against sending my tax dollars to deadbeats overseas.

Nobody said that you shouldn't learn more than one language. The issue is officially making English the official language of this country. To come here and not communicate in the native language is an outrageous display of disrespect. Sorry, but real Americans DO wave flags. Our flag is a symbol of our history and identity. Frame the argument correctly, please. Nobody is saying that immigration is a bad thing. ILLEGAL immigration is what every American should be deeply troubled by. Besides, it's these so-called "iLLegaLaws" (wtf?!?) you speak of that prevent us from degenerating into a shithole like Saudi Arabia or Mexico.

I am in 100 percent agreement. Right now, it seems consumer first and citizen second. Legal immigration is fine for those who want to be an American. Illegal immigration is just that...Illegal! Something so simple has been made complicated. What other country has a problem with such simple concepts? Sad.
