SO cute. See some MORE springtime baby animals from the local farm on video posted on page. Really sweet.

All the animals are simply lovely. And i certainly don't think any of these beautiful creatures should be left to die. The activists make sense, but this is a zoo, not the wild. Shouldn't we be preserving as many of these rare creatures as possible, regardless motherless or not?

Nice video.
We've been to many zoos and of all of them we like the Tierpark Berlin most. So much space for the animals! It'll take you a whole day to see everything.

Thank you for such a nice video. I do not like zoo's all that much, but I am not big on abortion either. I thought it was a shame animal right groups thought Knut should have been left t die because his mother rejected him. I am no a spicieist but what of the human babies rejected by their mother and left to die in Wall Mart toilets - should we let them die? Color me stupis, but in my estimation life of any entity is sacred.

I don't much like zoos either, this one is the best I've ever been to. I do, however, think that there are really only a few places where we as humans can save our wildlife. If we can do it in a nice way where they're not tortured behind bars, I guess it's better than no wild animals at all.

Rose:
Where I come from we had a horrid zoo - all cement pads no even close to anything natural - it closed thank God. I am not overly fond of zoos - but when the animals welfare is paramount over the zoo visitors - rock on! I followed Knut in the news - animals rights said he should be left to die. We do not kill humans rejected by their mother - Knuts surrogate dad is an angel - Long live Knut! Life is sacred, all life. I hope I have the pleasure of some day seeing the Berlin Zoo.

so did they kill knut? i hope not...
and isn't it kinda ironic that an animal rights group wants to kill an animal?
|
Apparently Knut has been moved to a more appropriate place and is still thriving - I seen update footage of him - but I do not recall where...

Yep, the video is all mine. I agree that the Berlin Zoo is fabulous - it's more like strolling through a park with animals than the traditional "barred cages" type zoo. I also agree re the animals going extinct. It's truly a shame.
