I'm looking for news about the original ar234 plans. Someone told me that russians took them and have been lost. I don't know if the source is reliable .... I'm looking for detailed plans to build a model in 1:6 "huge baby" static or flying don't know yet.

My (step) father flew the arado 234 Blitz, though not in combat with KG76. Last aircraft he flew was the Focke Wulf Stieglitz across the tree tops and away from the Russians...

Im proud of him, mine fought also on the eastern front in 42.

Thankyou friend... God Bless your family also.... Unfortunately people have been fooled all these years by negative propaganda (about Germany etc) to this very day that they actually believe it. They were heroes who fought with honour and pride, not the familier hollywood version which is so negative it defies belief (people have been brainwashed by the media) Anyway we could talk about this until the cows come home, many thanks again for your comment. Alles Gute Stefan.....

Mine was "Leutnant" in the Romanian Airforce, he was in the Battle of Sewastopol and Odessa, (he bombed both), - and his couzin also a pilot, also 24 years old, was in the 5th Bomber group, flew the Heinkel 111H3, and died in the summer of 1942 As for my grandfather I've never met him, I was born in 82, a few years after his death He would have had many stories to tell. Both were good men, and both were decorated with german Iron Crosses in the war. Hollywood ist scheisse- Viele grüsse

that's my grandfather i was telling you... I'm only 25 :)..

My wife is Romanian, One of her uncles (Nicholas) was shot as a POW and thrown down a well with the others by the russians in a massacre. Your grandfather and his cousin (bless them both) would have had many stories to tell, I'm sure they would have told you about Bucharest then known as ''Europes little Paris'' before the russians defiled it. Germany, Romania, Finland (winter war), Estonia, Latvia, Bulgaria etc etc all tried hard against the Russians, My father-in-law (Prometeo) is 84

Friedrich von Paulus's wife was romanian too (Elena Rosetti-Solescu) )).He returned a broken man years later from Captivity in the USSR, by then sympathetic to communism, what they did to him I don't know.. Yes, I'm from Bucharest, and my grandparents both from Moldavia, north-west part of the country. -Bucharest was a nice city back then,I have color pictures of it from 1941. It was bombed heavily by Americans, my grandmother barely survived the bombing of 4th April 1944. I'm happy I met you

North-east I meant, :p - if you know "Iasi" which is for Romania what Nurnberg is to Germany.. a really beutyfull town, that's where my grandmother is from. I might show your some pictures if you're interested. I have images of grandfather with a Ju-52 in the background and some others. best wishes to your familly.
