 i have an 02 i35 and its about on par with g35 auto rwd's. It weighs about 200lbs less too. very underated cars |

| you can beleive what you want, i own a G35x, have test driven a I35, to replace my I30 ( i have videos of all the cars except the i35), and chose the G35 over the I35, the G was much faster than the i, I am not biased, the I35 is much nicer/luxary etc, but the G is faster, so now what? you sound like an idiot thats what, i know what im talking about, i have had experiance with all these cars. |

| you said you know for a fact that G35's are slower than I's, I know for a fact that the fastest thing ive read about the I35 online was 6.9 seconds and that was on a forum who was speculating, the official time is 7.5 seconds, if you ask any one else that knows a thing or two about infiniti's they will tell you that the G is faster hands down in almost every scenario. |
| what are the conditions of the test cars you get these numbers from, your stats are so general? The slowest time I have read online about the I35 was 6.9 but I also read everything from 6.2-6.9. What makes you think the X driver was worse than me, maybe I suck and they were better, maybe the car is just not as quick. As for the 4 gears. In this case all it means in that the G has a high track speed and uses its power better. The I35 is a quick, plush car. Stop fighting opinion. |
| as i said before the G35 is way more performance oriented in everyway and the person you were racing in the X Didnt know how to drive, the Slowest G35 in 2004 does 0-60 in 6.5 with no brake launch and the I35 at best does 0-60 in 6.9 stock, stop arguing that a 4speed car with less horsepower and is FWD can beat a car with25 more hp, awd, and much better gearing, race a driver that knows how to drive how about, i dont beleive you at all |
| lol tyou fighting me is just stupid. The G35x is slower and what I'm telling you is a truth that I have seen with my own eyes. Maybe you need to go try this out for yourself in order to provide some valid opinion. A coupe manual will beat an I35 hands down, even the manual sedan, but the X is slow garbage. |
| btw its not a fact, a 2006 infiniti G35x has 280 HP thats 25 more hp with a better 5speed transmission, and its awd, dont fool yourself, i would bet any G35 can beat your I35 if the driver even knows how to put the car in Drive |

| I know for a fact that the I35 is faster than many G35's, sorry but its true. Once, the driver of a white G35 Sedan said to me "I can't believe you beat me, I didn't know they made a 35 version of the I". Another time, actually many times, I beat my friend Kate's car, which was a 2006 G35x Auto. I'm sorry you disagree but I know first hand that my words are very true. |
| The I35 was not faster than any G35.. simply because of the transmission and driveline, the G takes 2 full gears to get to 60 the uses 2 gears to get to 80 by then the G has used almsot 3. the Gis also rwd the I is fwd |
| yeah i know, mine wasn't a 2001 model. Its was a 2003 which had the bigger motor and a bunch of upgrades but unfortunately they kept that crappy transmission. The car was actually still quick though, it beat the G35 pretty effortlessly and pretty much anything else in its class. The car had a great 0-120MPH time but anything over that was a drag. I would top it out around 130. The "I" series is very reliable and decently safe, just lacked modern technology for the market. |

| yea it did, i mean the transmission was still only a 4spd automatic so it didn't BOOM as much as it could, but hey, that's why they replaced it with the G35-37. I would buy the I35 if it came back on the market with today's technology standards and at least a 5-6speed automatic. |
