Japanese language is the official/national/common language to Okinawan just like mandarin to Chinese but I am referring to Okinawan dialect Chinese dialect (Fuchou). For example, cat is "maya" (instead of neko) in Okinawan dialect, very similar to "mayang" in Fuchou dialect which is also very different from Mandarin, "mao". TQ

Certain kung fu style such as Yiquan also emphasize on "killing with one blow". Some Karateka also practise "rapid punches" by the way.

People in Okinawa are all speaking Japanese. Why am I hearing some guy stubbornly calling people in Okinawa Chinese? That's a pretty stupid thing to say.

If youre referring to my comment, I know full well what kata is, I've been studying nearly as long as youve been alive. 2nd thing is, WHen and if you ever get to my level, you'll learn that NOTHING is pure anythiing. If you ever learn about "coiling energy" you'll understand what I was getting at.

You were talking about his style and tai chi. Coiling energy is a skill but he is using Shorinjiryu forms. So he isn't using tai chi style.

I didn't say he was using TaiChi style, Stevie Wonder could see that. Yes coiling energy is a skill which transcends mere "Style" when you reach a certain level of mastery things become common regardless of national origin and style.
