I shake your hand young fella! Your absolutely right. Dai who was a friend of mine was a very egosentric ass. He has carried this garbage for so long that everyone actually believes it. Many people say that if you tell a lie long enough, people tend to believe it. How very true they were. Dai hated Houdini till the day he died.

Speaking of Egosentric Assholes, Bruce Cervon is another one that comes to mind. Ever seen any of his videos from the "Lost" series? If there were some type of award given for the biggest asshole in the magic, this piece of shit takes the cake!

Yes Houdini did magic you jackass! Vernon wasn't the only one who fooled Houdini either. Read your history. Dai was an egosentric jackass himself. I know because I have met the guy personally on several occasions. Dai wouldn't admit this in-front-of an audience. He was a very stubborn man. So get your facts straight and don't believe this nonsense. Houdini didn't do magic!! Won't a jobe statement in itself that is!!

NOT SO IN ANY WAY! Houdini did do magic! How Dai Vernon gets off saying such things is very foolish. Dai Vernon is completely wrong. Read your history and you will see that this legend is completely false. Dai wasn't the only one to fool Houdini. I know because Dai told me personally behind closed doors. A very egotistical man. He actually hated Houdini from the very start and wanted great fame and played this same stunt as other magicians had done.

funny story - I saw where Vernon said people would ask him when he performed at restaurants ands tuff what trick he "got" Houdini with, and he would usually lie and do different tricks for different people saying it wathe one he fooled Houdini with . . . and no matter which trick he chose people would always say, "Oh, I can see how that would fool Houdini!"

Harry Houdini got fooled by that?
