If those rails are the second version and Nokia still manages to make a mess out of it, then jeez. That is weak.
Good thing you managed it =)

OK...i kinda fixed it...i took a halfinch piece of paper..and folded it in half....then i slid it down where the music keys at the top...it's REALLY stiffened up my slide...a bit TOO tight ...but it works

i just opened my phone up...and the metal rail says "V2" on it and i dont have torx screws i have mery tiny philips screws...but even if it is version 2 it still wobbles and gives me the feeling that my $600 phone has crap quality....anyone else have the phillips screws and V2 written on their rail...and still have wobbeling problem????????

TAKK KOMPIS!! Slideren er smoooth og telefonen fungerer som en drøm!;)
|
Unfortunately bro, NOKIA does not have have any Nokie Certified Service and Repair in Southern California.
|
Where do you live? Can I send the phone to you and you fix it for me? :)
|
I live in Norway so the freight would cost you a lot and I can't even fix it properly, you need new plastic rails to do that.
There is bound to be a Nokia service center more or less close to you, at least closer than across North America and the Atlantic ocean. ;)

I thought just use the black tape or something. BTW, the rails on the N95 are plastics?
|
Yep those culprits are made of something like that and its a really bad idea.
