Description :	I took this video on my cell phone after I and a friend observed the newly-formed tornado approaching the campus of our church and school from just south of Mohawk Parkway and just east of Skyline Boulevard in Cape Coral. At about 6:30 p.m. it was simply a mass of swirling debris with no obvious funnel cloud. The funnel seems to have formed several minutes later when I began taking the video. The storm seems to have destroyed more than one neighborhood electrical transformer. Power had been blinking on and off both before and after the twister, but it finally went down completely at 7:10 p.m. and stayed off for about a couple of hours.

when was this?! man, i wish i could have seen it. i've lived in cape coral all my life and never seen a tornado. haha.

cape coral is kinda big, i remember this tornado i think it was in SW cc. i live in SE cc, and i still didn't see it

ah i was safe in colorado, my house in the cape is fine too, besides the 2 foot tall grass :/

omg i was there,it started were my house was...my dad was like SAMANTHA COME HERE!!! and i went to my dads room and there it was lifting parts of the roofs up i was so scared!and the lights were out for like..4 or 5 hours...it sucked!

Was a little creepy having those around but at least it didn't do a huge amount of damage.
