I think it just depends on your taste. You sound like you're that typical guy that hates shopping around and looking for clothes and accessories, and maybe you're a little older, so obviously Shinjuku isn't the place for you. The Shinjuku experience is amazing for the right recipient.

Who are you referring to? And aren't we talking about Shibuya? Didn't I recommend Shinjuku in the first place, also considering that it offers way more variety for different people of different age than Shibuya?

lmao, Sorry, I made a mistake, I meant Shibuya. What I meant was, yes, Shinjuku does offer more variety for different people of different ages, but in my opinion, it's a must-go place to visit if you're into that kind of thing. Shibuya was meant to cater to mostly young people anyway. Personally I love browsing (and buying from :P) independent clothes and shoe stores, and I love Mexican and Arabian food too :P
