2009 Chevrolet Traverse Full Test

Video Title : 2009 Chevrolet Traverse Full Test
Description : LEARN MORE ABOUT THE CHEVY TRAVERSE: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/FullTests/articleId=132113?tid=edmunds.il.home.photopanel..1.* If the large, traditional SUV you're giving up represents trans fat, the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse you're replacing it with is unsalted, organic butter churned from the milk of grass-fed cows. This is not a low-fat crossover SUV. Along with its siblings built on GM's Lambda platform architecture, the 2009 Chevy Traverse is the longest and tallest crossover on the market. Yes, it even beats the ungainly Mercedes-Benz R-Class. It's also longer than a Honda Odyssey or Dodge Grand Caravan. If you wanted a bigger family vehicle, you'd have to go back to driving a Chevy Suburban or Ford Expedition EL. And yet just like the sort of large, placid Holstein cow you see on family farms, our 2009 Chevrolet Traverse 2LT AWD is amazingly friendly for something with such a large footprint. It does everything to make sure it doesn't step on you. You start to back up and a built-in camera display takes over the left side of the rearview mirror, while the sonar goes nuts if you get within 10 feet of anything shaped like a toddler. Then you glance to your right and realize you have the choice of looking in the regular side mirror or a built-in blind-spot viewer. All the standard visibility aids on our Chevy Traverse 2LT tester can be overwhelming at first, but the car just wants to help you out. In doing so, though, it reminds you that you're not really downsizing when you get into a seven-passenger crossover. Rather, you're driving an SUV with the safety on.

@chuckers40 Exactly the reason I just bought an Acadia. The Traverse is a nice vehicle, but I don't care too much for the rear lights; everything else is fine.
These guys are fuckin stupid!!. This looks ten times better than those comparisons!!!
Im tellying . .GM has come a long way. . .They can't afford to mess around anymore!. . Nice job GM ! . and Ford as well
my mom is trading a dodge durango for a chevy traverse.
looks really nice!
The Traverse is rated better than the honda pilot, for better mpg, better warranty and bigger than honda. GM stuff has really been upgraded over the last five years, of course Ford has been doing well especially with the focus and Fussion, and now the taurus sho2010
FOR TRAVERSE OWNERS....is there an available option for power fold-in outside door mirrors on the Traverse? Is it an LTZ option only?
nice spelling dude you ever been through first grade?
Corollas to me have always been. Well, just plain bland. They don't have the sporty feel and refinement that you get with the civics. And the interior is nowhere near in the civic league of refinement.
so does its sister the Toyota Corolla- toyotas best selling vehicle
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING NIGGER???
I wouldn't get the cobalt if i were you. Just wait till next year till the release the cruze. Or buy a civic instead. The cobalt is horrible interior and had powersteering problems.
You don't even know how to spell CHEVROLET, CAMARO, CORVETTE, OR TRAVERSE.
chevorlet is the best we all no it yha gov travers my family getting a travers comarow and a cobalt nexst week pluse we have a zr1 corvett
@NOZblast2 Agreed, its faster and has more features, this looks like an oversized bland looking mini-van.
boo !!!!!!!!!
terrain
cx-9 looks better? HELL NO! flex looks good but this look better than the mazda
BULLSHIT
My familys getting this in less that a week! I CAN'T WAIT!!
2010 models have little bit better look
If I only had to pick just one of these vehicles, I would pick the GMC Acadia because it has a sporty but elegant look.
hard to call, but me, i'd go for the buick enclave, because i like the overall luxurious apperance of the buick, plus for some reason i feel gravitated to the buick brand.
GÜZEL ARABA ABİ
The Pictures of the Traverse, and it's siblings:, the Enclave, Outlook, and Acadia do not do justice to them . They are better looking in person. They are also bigger than you think. All 4 of these vehicles are about a 1 to 1 1/2 ft shorter than a Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon. If you only had to purchase one of these vehicles, which one would you purchase and why?
