Wow, they love to understate Ducati. I want to see the 1098R in carbon, not the insurance friendly DEAD stock model.

I like tiff as a driver but not so much as a presenter because in all of his tests he is like an egomaniac. like a 4th grader just trying to beat the other guy and very good at comming up with the excuses. Some say Jeremy clarkson is a bit of a bully and jerk but i think its Tiff nedell!

hope to see a Lamborghini Reventon vs. Ducati 1098R race.

GodIsAWasteMan said: "why not race a busa?

Nope vithaj92 your def wrong there bud. That car is packed to the gills with carbon fibre and has a tuned version of an already enormously powerful engine, great aerodynamics, trick suspension, wheels and brakes. all its missing is race rubber and a roll cage in the back.
The 1098 is far inferior in terms of spec to a 1098S which is far inferior in terms of spec to 1098R which is far far far inferior in terms of spec to a WSB (or BSB for that matter) spec bike.
Get your facts straight.

A Fireblade, R1, Gsxr-1000 or ZX-10R would have been as fast or even faster than the Duke and cost much less at about £12-15K. Big difference between that and £151K for something slower, less exciting and.. much worse fuel economy!
