Canon HG10 HD Video Camcorder

Expert village does a video showing how to upload vhs tapes through your mini dv recorder to your computer. I have this camera and can the same be done with this camera?

do u know if this is fully compatible with apple? i need to know, anyone. ive heard hard drive camcorders are hard to convert. is this true?

i currently have a hard drive camcorder and i just plug it into my mac and open imovie 08. Then imovie detects the camera and automatically imports them. SO EASY!

oh, so its cheaper, since you dont have to keep buying mini dv's right? is there anything i should know b4 i get one. like other stuff i need with it?

ya man mini dv's arent cheap. lol.... i have a jvc everio and was looking at this one for and upgrade, its really easy to get files off of and wipe the hard drive when the files arent needed any more
