Jan Hammer is a genius.

The combined talents of Michael Mann and Jan Hammer were the perfect chemistry to set the tone and images for Miami Vice. As a frequent visitor to Miami, I still manage to get my Miami fix nowadays from CSI Miami, which is smart enough to integrate today's Miami scene into their shows.

Don't challenge Jan to a Drum-off. Somebody made that mistake once.

o god...why did they have to show Jan Hammer?? Now my whole illusion is ruined...

dont look at him..listen to him...thats his perfection and genious....one of the best composers at that time...his music is wonderful and timeless...just perfect

I think the kid was on coke too. maybe the wanted to show that the people in Colombia were so desperate that even kids would work for drug dealers and be drug addicted themselves...I don't know..that's what I thought while watching it.

I remember an episode that featured the song "wire" from the group U2. I loved the song first time I heard it and went out and bought the release "the unforgettable fire".
