is 8600m gt good enough for most of the games out there?

I ordered one of these, same configuration except I have a 2.5Ghz Core 2 Duo. I am hoping for the best. Didn't go with the hi-def screen, high-res LED backlight though. Call me a worrier but are the magnets in the case capable of causing any damage to the screen/HDD?

I've bought one...yummmmmmmmmm...I got the inspiron mini9 for $ 99...nice deal! total expenditure $ 1408.

I got it right now and it uses 1 gb evrday ! Or is it just vista :?

the video card 8600m gt with only 256 mb is a bit outdated in my opinion... i hope they refresh their lineups and have an upgradable vdeo card to nvidia 9600m gt with 512 mb for better gaming experience.

It's hard to be up to date. Nvidia seems to come out with a new card every other month. 8600m gt runs most games today...not the best quality but it does the job.
