I like KIng Abdullah of Jordan. he is a decent man. But you cannot compare him to the ideals of StarTrek, which are universal justice, knowledge, freedom, human rights, equality for all, human or not. King Abdullah, though he is a good man, is a dictator son of a dictator, both are better people than the Saudi dictatorship, but still they are NOT about equality and human rights.

Star Trek ideals are just that. Ideals! They don't all exist in real world. They can't. Its just not possible unless everyone/everything is an automaton. King Abdulla is a better man than any US president has been. He is trying hard to make Jordan a democracy. Doing that in a not so secular Muslim country is not easy. Because democracy can't be forced on people. You think he is good because he follows some of Star Trek's ideals? Star Trek is a good influence on people =) I love it!
