I can't help but notice that girl at 1:01 looks a bit like Emo Philips (as "local High School shop teacher, Joe Early") did in Weird Al's "UHF". That's just a random bit I thought I'd toss in there.

It could actually be Tom Kennedy as he did a nighttime version of the show in the early 80's which was still using the same set. I couldn't really tell if it was Kennedy or not b/c he didn't talk long enough for me to be able to tell, but it could be Tom.

Kennedy's version didn't air until 1985, when the more modern set was in use.
