"May Allah guide us to follow the pure islam that Allah gave us trough the Prophet(pbuh)." Thank you for such a great du3aa brother, all i wanted to say is that Islam is not about sects, it is about following the prophet Muhammad sws as he used to worship described by his wife, assahabah, assalaf, alkhalaf,,ect but never say i am a sunni muslim or salafi muslim, for that is a fitna to make us differ then never get united, and Allah knows best and may he guide and forgive us. maeen

I understand... you are against madhabs and so called sects.... no problem... where do you get your knowledge???? madhabs makes things much easear for us unknowledge ppl. what do you say about those who call them selfs muslims and drink, or those who dosent pray, or those who makes shirk, its very important to know what kind of islam you follow and loud and clear not agree with those things that ppl do in the name of islam. to say stand against those who created a new religion an say its islam.

assalamu 3alaikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatu, thank you for your try to help see truth and have knowledge, i say about those muslim drunkards: May Allah guide them and make it easy for them to quite what is bad for them and follow what is good to them.

Yes he warned us to follow the lost sects, and he ordered us stick to his sunnah and the chaliphs sunnah, that is what the salaf is on. Follow the salaf and you will follow the Prophet.

But the prophet Muhammad sws knew very well that there will be many sects and he warned us to follow any of them and said the one which will be saved is the one I am(prophet sws) on and you(sahabah ra) are on and of those who follow,,ect so it is clear to know that Islam is one religion any sect(sunni, salafi, qathafi)are just a astray by saying they are so, instead of getting satisfied with Muslim.

I dont know if you heard somthing about the 4 big madhabs in islam...Maliki, Shafii, Hanafi and Hanbali, they all relies on the salaf... May Allah guide us to follow the pure islam that Allah gave us trough the Prophet(pbuh.

The word salaf is mentioned in the Qur'an in the following verses: "Tell those who disbelieve that if they cease (from persecution of believers) that which is past (salafa) will be forgiven them; but if they return (thereto) then the example of the men of old hath already gone (before them, for a warning). And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for God. But if they cease, then lo! God is Seer of what they do." (8:38-39)

word salaf is mentioned in the verse in the bad description my friend,it is said about the past(salaf) bad deeds of disbelievers,so it has no reason to be meaning the manhaj of salaf, and i agree that assalaf assalih used to be the best people that followed the foot steps of the prophet sws,but i disagree to name a sect of them as i disagree to name 4mathahib where the imams themselves said:mathhab that the prophet is on i am on,another said:i am innocent from those who follwo me when i am wrong
