Baby Lions at San Diego Wild Animal Park

O and when you say in the video, she does not want him near the babies, thats not the reason she snapped at him as I mentioned before. Abd plus that statement is so not true, he is the father of all seven cubs and he would never try to hurt them.

Well she did have a good reason to snap at him. At 2:00 you can clearly see the male lion attempting to mate with her.

I prefer the Wild Animal Park to the Zoo. I just wish it wasn't way up in north county!

Male lions don't always kill cubs. If they do it's because they're taking over a pride and they want their offspring around and not another male. They're not all rivals either. Often males team up to take over a pride from another dominant male. The little kid sounds like he's already attracted to violence. He's hoping they fight and he says, "they're battling". It's nature. Lions know nothing about the meaning of those words.

Did you need a special pass or ticket to view the lion exhibit? My family is planning on visiting the park in the next month or so...I understand they also have Safari packages, too. They're a bit pricey, though :(

Can you let us know which package you bought at the Wild Animal Park? We are going on the 10th of March and are confused with the packages. You seemed to be quite up close to the action. Thanks.
