sorry mate, but you are wrong. its true that we wont be buying swedish fighter jets, but the reason is that politicians have NO PLAN AT ALL TO REPLACE HORNETS WHEN THE OLD AGE AND OBSOLENCE HITS THE FLEET! Did you miss the YLE broadcasted program that complained about the massive costs(only 3.5B €, lifetime cost so far) of the F18 program. each and every politician says that we dont have money for the defence of our country!!! we dont need nato, we need 1,5B € per year for our defence force!

Utter craptalk. We are a part of the EU who controls the Nordic Battlegroup. And since the riksdag has disbanded all other military assets the only military we now have left is not even controlled by Sweden. That policy about "unalignment in peace and neutrality in war" was disbanded years ago.

NB is an co international force that can be used when the member states of the NB wishes to use it. Why would you think EU controls NB? That's hilarious that you think other nations can control Sweden's or Ireland's resources and military. Sweden has never, and will not fight within any NATO mandate. It says very clear in the "grundlag" that it is illegal since we are not a member of nato. Afghanistan, balkan, kongo, you name it. All is under UN.

Thats not something I think, it is fact. We are a member of the EU and when the EU-battlegroups was signed it also became a military alliance. Since when has any politician ever cared about the Swedish constitution? They are constantly breaking it, like then Reinfeldt signed the Lissabon treaty or the new FRA-law. The neutrality you value so high have never been more then a - policy -, it has never been law. Have you read the constitution at all I wonder...
