shawn michaels is a hell of a lot better than hogan

i must disagree. How is Shawn's ego playing a part in this when Hogan is the one copped out of the last two matches? Hogan didn't want to lose to Shawn AT ALL. Since Hogan is the bigger star and has more political pull, he makes it so that he wins CLEAN at their 1st and only meeting, which IMO kills the "realism" of the match even more than Shawn's overselling did. How can we fans be expected to believe that Hogan, well into his 50, beats a man who is much younger, and a much better wrestler?

Long Story short- Hogan and shawn were supposed to have a 3 match feud. Hogan wins one, Shawn wins one, 3rd is the rubber match. but Hogan cited "knee problems" and got out of the rest of the matches. Shawn got back at him by overselling all of his moves to make him look like a fool. Vince said he wanted the old 1998 HBK back for that feud. well, he im' :-)
