Mazda 3 MPS on Nurburgring 8min39secs (taster)

Nice video. Mazda 3 MPS is one respectable car. Was gonna get 1 but decided to stick to my roots and get another Subaru but the MPS also rocks my boat :)

And you haven't answered me on the "turbo lag is so much fun", thing. Judging from that comment, you really don't know what you're talking about.

yeah, that cobalt is going to be fast, but i doubt it will be faster than the MS3, take it that the test cobalt ss ran in the 8:20s on the nurburgring, and the ms3 ran in the8:30s, the cobalt driver knew the car very well and also knew the track very well, where the ms3 driver here was newto the track and new to the car.

it did that once, then the chassis got so loose it could never do it again... :p

Well what I meant by my comment with the difference between open and closed track is that when the cobalt driver had a closed track, he did not have to worry about other drivers and more importantly slow down for anyone on the track he might have had to wait a few turns to pass, with the speed3 being timed on opened track and at a track as long as nubur im sure he was affected by other cars on the track

Funnily enough we also had a closed track at the end of the day to get a lap in but the closed track took longer as the driver was nervous after being told that kids with skateboards often go on to it after hours and there was no way of knowing if they would be around the next corner.
