my grandpa met larry bird YEARS ago when he was still on boston, an he saw him at a bar with the WHOLE team. he asked bird if he could buy him an drink an he said sure. so my grandpa had a small chat with him. he told me he was the most nicest generous person that you dont see in the nba when met. he also told larry that "you seem ALOT BIGGER in person then television" an larry started to laugh about it. he then ask for an autograph later on a napkin, but my GRANDMA USED IT an threw it AWAY! lol
