I think it is a pretty sound piece of advice, you cannot deny that it is easier to get better results with the putter than the other clubs, if you are 10 or 15 feet away you will sink it more often if you were on the green with a putter rather than if you were off the green with another club no matter what the lie. That statement is consistent as you get closer or further away from the hole. That was entire point of the video but most of you missed it completely!

wow, that was a waste of time... i already knew that its better to have the ball on the green
Although we all know its better to have the ball on the green, unfortunately many high handicappers do not strategically approach this goal, as an immediate means of lowering their scores.
I would suggest not many golfers this video is aimed at would 2 putt from 30-40 feet, let alone 60 feet.
You didn't really go in-depth about the 'strategy' of putting it on the green. Something along the lines of 'pick a spot on the green to aim at to put it close' would be more beneficial.
I don't want you to take the distance literally, my point was that getting the ball on the green is far more imortant than leaving the ball short of the green or in the bunker.
You are right in saying that picking a spot on the green helps, however if that spot is a ways away from the hole, so be it, as long as you get that putter in your hand.
