keep casting incendio realy quickley and it will die!!!!

I'm stuck in Neville's Devil Snare Problem. Will anyone be kind and please help me out of it ? I've kept on casting incendio and it keeps growing. It doesn't look like it is going to die. What can I do. Can anyone provide a video tutorial or a savegame finished till the recruitment of DA members ? Please Help me. Mine is a PC version.
