lol i love my hdtv, im 13 and my parents are not even rich, and i have a 42' lcd plasma tv, xbox 360 with 20 games, a wii with 7 games, a fender strat. guitar, an i-pod (5th gen), a laptop, a camera, guitar hero 2, and a desktop computer! :P and they get paid min. wage, i mean ommfg! lol well that was a good commercial :)

mt widescreen tv is pissin me off. When i watch tv it has black at the top and bottom witch doesnt even make sense, sense its a wide screen it would make sense if you watch something thats ment for a full screen and it had black on the left and right ( sense a wide screen is wider then full... ) and i just rented superman widescreen and I put it in play it and it has black at the top and bottom and its ment for a wide screen that doesnt even make sense.Why does it do that?

Because different movies have different aspect ratios. 6:9 = Wide screen 4:3 = Full Screen, Standard TV size 4:3 Letterbox = wide screen picture on a 4:3 TV with black bars on top and bottom of picture 4:3 PS = Wide screen getting scanned and panned left and right give a full screen picture 2.35:1 = Wider wide screen format. A narrow picture on 4:3 TV. If watched on a wide screen TV, you will still get letterbox picture 1.85:1 = Wide screen (16:9)
