James Newton Howard scoring King Kong part 2

They should release a complete score CD for this film. I heard that Howard Shore wanted to release his rejected score to King Kong. King Kong Complete Score Music Composed By James Newton Howard 2hrs 48 Minutes or 3hrs 02 Minutes. It'll be awesome to hear the entire full score on CD!!

Its all about talent not awards. This soundtrack is intriguing. JNH is a genius, no question.

Intersection is one of his best scores, it has Toots Theilman on Hamonica great stuff, but hard to get on CD.

James Newton Howard did a great job on the entire score for King Kong! With only 5 weeks and scoring the whole project in 4 weeks he did a great job!

I am so glad that James Newton Howard scored this film. He did an excellent job. Howard Shore probaly would of screwed it up. My comment.

Why? Shore is the Oscar-winning monumental composer of Lord of the Rings. Newton Howard is...uh...yeah that's right: nobody as of yet.

James Newton Howard, I must say, is the most CONSISTENT composer in Hollywood next to John Williams. Other composers like Shore, Elfman, and Newman, also good ones, tend to play toward their strengths for EVERY film. I see that as a flaw. A rather important one to keep an eye on.

You're kdding me? James Newton Howard has done way better scores as a whole compared with Shore's stuff. Listen to Wyatt Earp Waterworld,Peter Pan..etc just to name a few. He even did the ER theme. This guy is a shredder when in comes to scoring.

Anyone seen The Water Horse? The score to that film is one of Newton-Howard's best. Signs is also awesome
