| i am sorry i do know my haute couture and fashion and this is a gaudy show. A lot of those shapes need more refining as these girls are very thin and even they are struglng to make these garments look good (editing) and yes these hats are tacky even if they cost a fortune to create. Love the shoes though. |

| and as for the crazy accessories, they are really meant just for the show, though they are pieces that are purchased, only by request (limited to the special clientele of course!) after all crazy accessories are there in other fashion shows, they are mainly meant to give a great visual impact to the clothes.

| in fact haute couture is so precious that it has become a collector's item, just to be kept or even be auctioned after decades.
face it, these clothes are so freaking expensive starting at 25K for the simplest piece up to hudreds of thousands, which they are not everyone!
in fact Sidney Toledano(CEO of Dior) has stated that the extravagant creations of dior haute couture is a huge part of marketing strategy and to put Dior name right in the center of fashion map for a million years ahead. |
