Though she did in fact love Count Fersen it remains unknown whether they actually consumated their love. Part of me hopes that they didn't but they probably did. I just prefer to think of Marie as being faithful to Louis cuz i mean, poor guy. Anyway i guess you can't really control your emotions. I find comfort in knowing that she may not have been IN love with Louis but she did love him and their children dearly.
