did anyone know how it howls?
well its unique to the olympus 200 series engines and is most noticable at 80% ish thrust its called "intake harmonics" so the welsbourne vulcan having 300 series engines cant generate that "howl" although the southend one could

When i saw on the news some footage like this i thought it was all a dream! After 13 years being restored and takes off tike any normal other aircraft. Its just incredible! Listening to those engines rev up to full power for take off once again! Just incredible!
