The CDU/CSU needs to change its name to the "Republican Party of Germany." There is nothing Christian Democratic about German "Christian Democrats" and they are more like American conservatives! The so-called "Christian Democrats" in Germany are a shameful lot. The best Christian Democratic parties in Europe are in Finland, Belgium and Holland!

I can't stand her. She reminds me on a second Margaret Thatcher (German version). She's weird and a horrible politician. She thinks she is the one who brought Germany back to a better country but she isn't. Definitely not. It was former chancellor Gerhard Schroeder who brought Germany back on top.

Gerhard Schroders numbers were horrible, you probably remember the unemployment rate? have you ever noticed liberal politics don't work? they have been proven failures time and time again. by the way, margaret thatcher was a great lady, a true conservative. had i lived in the uk i would have been proud to vote for her.

She is the best Euro leader since margaret Thatcher. She pulling Germany back from the mess of the SPD, Schroder was a disaster. Next time she will win out right, CDU & CSU for 4 more years!!!! Go Angie, we love you!!!!
