what else is it gonna eat? i feed mine frozen pre-killed mice, it's more 'humane' plus the mice that get fed to snakes were pretty much born to be killed anyways, and those little guys multiply like crazy so it's not like your enangering any species.and it doesn't matter weather it can escape or not, a mouse is going to be eaten by a snake, that's the way it works in the world. alsoo, mice can't outrun snakes.anywhere.

haha no way well maybe for some but mostly so people can get an idea of what size their snake needs to be to eat a mouse or just for something to watch
