preachers like that are idiots and should not be deemed to preach...what ever happened about preaching to worship god....in the bible...if he is familiar with it says love the sinner but hate the sin

Actually that's not in the Bible at all. Then again, there's nothing in the Bible that says homosexuality is a sin, either. Not being loving towards others, spreading hate and bigotry and fear, those are DEFINATELY called sin throughout scripture. Homophobia is NOT Christian. People like Akinola using scripture to hate is a greater sin than any sex act could be.

Akinola is about the worst of a bad bunch, except maybe for Fred Phelps. I also could not understand a word he was saying, because of the combination of his shouting, and his thick accent. They shouldn't allow bigots like Akinola to preach in America. He's also very low-church. I much prefer to attend a high church, which places emphasis on the sacraments, rather than mere preaching.

We have anough gay-bashers in America w/o people coming from other countries spouting their gay hatred.

i don't think anyone should be oppressed. I believe homosexuality is not what God intended, but when i sin i'm just as bad as a homosexual. There is no dividing line. We all are stuck in sin until we allow Jesus to take the blame for us. To many people who are anti-gay get caught up in their selfrighteousness when they are just as bad. I think that is where akinola's fault is.
