dude don't get ur hopes high. Neurosurgery is very competitive to get in to in the USA and the spots are so few. So you have to work ur ass off in med school and don't worry abot the med school cost cause as a neurosurgeon u will stinky rich

The majority of EMS providers are not obese. However, I challenge you to work 24 hour shifts sitting in an ambulance all day and not gain any weight whatsoever.

Dr Easton is obviously a very articulate and caring female doctor - may you soar to the heights of emergency medicine. Why are the EMS providers getting more and more obese? This is a tragedy.

If you are interested in research, then do an M.D. Ph.D. and med school will be free. NIH has many loan repayment programs-check out their we page. Or join the military and they will pay-of course strings attached with that one. Good luck.

totally agree with u...nursing is not a job that you can do only for money..it's too stressfull, you've to have reasons to live this profession and money is not one of these.

i coudnt agree more!! i want to be a nurse...because i want to help people and make a diffrence!! they get to underpaid though and thats not fair!! there saving lifes for god's sake!

I am in Australia. I am studying Nursing and have been encouraged by my professors to consider training to be a Doctor on completion of my Nursing degree. I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the lifestyles of doctors/nurses? - family life, work life balance etc. I know it is probably different where you live, but I would be interested in hearing what you have to say - if you have time :)
