Do yourselves all a favour and buy vehicles that don't cost the earth. Its tasteless and vulgar to use the worlds resources in this way? Toyota prius now that's a breath of fresh air!!

Nonsense. Add all the fuel used in all the Rolls Royce and Bentleys world wide and it's a drop in the ocean - because the cars are so exclusive and rare. Tott up the amount of fuel used in Toyotas or Fords (i.e. run of the mill cars) and it is THEY who account for the majority of fuel used. I have been accused of being lacking in taste by a guy driving a Citroen 2CV - which did a bout 2 miles per gallon (of engine oil). The smoke screen was utilied to hide his embarrassment - presumably?

My Pal had an Opel Manta. It was endless fun. I still have the Bentley but I have now started buing good Volvos. I have a 24 year old Volvo 740 which is like new and I am really smitten with it. I am interested in many different makes - especially the ones that have been a part of my life as Volvo has been (and IS again now!). Everyone should drive what THEY like!

Yes, some like the daughter, some like the mother.. Manta was really something the early days, not often to see nowadays. And Volvos, the older ones in Norway we call them "Traktors", "Horses" or vovv (like barkin dog", -but that is bechause those cars never seemes to stop!! Volvos was the first cars to seriously try to make it safer on the road.. Now owned by Ford..
