I honestly think that 3:00 to 3:12 was just about the best thing I have ever seen in cartoon history.

Holy shit this was made before they invented cel animation, so McCay traced the background onto each frame

Disney was a horrible animator and a terrific businessman. Whenever he went anywhere, people would ask him to draw Mickey Mouse- but he couldn't do it! XD

So much more attention to shading and movement than "modern" cartoons.

So much funny stuff! I like this so much that the diplodocus (a.k.a. Gertie) is now my favorite prehistoric animal.

Respecting the fathers is a nice thing. All of this couldn't be possible without them for sure... but demoralising todays legends would be bad dear. Do you realise how hard it is to make 3D stuff? It ain't as easy as you come across the word nothing for them in a fraction of a sec! Say it only if you are capable of doing even a least bit as them!!!

I was just joking. Obviously, contemporary cartoons are light years ahead of this movie. Come on, get a sense of humor.
